Why is your support important?

Work to Ride is the only program of its kind in the United States. The majority of equine programs charge a fee for service, are short-term and only allow youth and horse interaction at a very basic level. WTR youth are fully exposed and participate in the whole horse experience, which is thought to only be available to people of means. The WTR program is free to low-income, inner-city youth of Philadelphia. Keeping horses and associated costs places a large burden on our budget and our fund-raising efforts.
